Elizabeth Pisila

Elisabeth Schlieben Pisila, Lic. Ms. T. Elisabeth Pisila received her diploma from the Swedish Institute of Massage and her NYS license in 1976. She trained in Rhythmical Massage at the Margaretha Hauschka Schule in Germany 1977-78. Inspired by the training, she continued with Rhythmical Massage using its extraordinary technique which incorporates the elements of nature that form the human being. The practitioner's conscious approach in sensing what the body is revealing and asking for, acts as a deeply human science for healing. She taught at introductory and continuing education courses in the USA 1978-86, at the school in Germany in 1984 and the School for Rhythmical Massage, USA in the 1990s. Her work has been in private practice collaborating with physicians for 40 years, She is a member of the AMTA, RMTA and AHA.
